Grows with your Child
The sturdy, plastic-molded, brightly colored table sits flat on the floor for babies to play at while sitting. You can attach the table's legs to adjust it to accommodate toddlers' play while standing. And it offers plenty of activities at different levels of learning to keep your child entertained for these early developmental years. Your child will delight in spinning the maraca to hear a fun rendition of the ABC song; playing the colored piano keys to practice motor skills and learn about colors; moving the trombone's slide to count to 10; and sliding the cello to learn about up and down. Kids can tap on the colorful drum and learn about colors and primary shapes, too. Then, by flipping the pages of the "book" to go from the Learning Mode to the Music Mode, kids can hear more than 40 songs and melodies, including nursery rhymes and fun individual instrument sounds that will have them singing and dancing.

Plenty to Do, Lots to Learn
With all of these activities, your child will exercise his or her memory and problem-solving skills with lots of things to push, pull, turn, open, and close. And with the flip of a switch, the songs and games switch from English to Spanish, offering a great introduction to foreign-language learning. The Learn & Groove Musical Table requires some assembly and needs 3 AA batteries for operation. Batteries are not included.

Preschool Curriculum That Allows Children to Play and Learn at the Same Time

Learning is apart of our lives and this education helps us to achieve the various dreams and goals that we have set our sights on. This learning process begins from the time that we are babies. The solid foundations for social interaction and education start during the preschool days. At these places children follow a preschool curriculum that allows them to play and learn at the same time.

In the various preschools that can be found there are different activities for children. These activities are designed to stimulate the mental and creative abilities of children. It is at these places that your child will have the beginnings of their formative education.

The social interaction that takes place between teachers and children at this stage also helps the children to understand the role of their parents and of their teachers. From these two sets of adults the child learns of the social barriers that define right and wrong.

The preschool curriculum also sets out the various subject matters that your child will explore first. These subjects will be learning the alphabet and some basic maths. Additionally your child will be introduced to the science subjects by letting them see how the various objects in nature interact with each other.

To help your child develop their creative talents there are numerous crafts and musical instruments that they can use. The instruments are made of sturdy plastic and they are colored in bright colors like reds, yellows and blues that draw the attention of children. The artistic implements that your child will use are of the non-toxic variety and they have easy to open containers.

By learning to open these containers your child’s manual dexterity will become improved. The selections that are made with the artistic implements will develop their decision making abilities not to mention their artistic talents. These creative subjects are one of the fun aspects of any preschool curriculum.

To ensure that your child receives the highest possible education and that the standard is kept high, the various state educational boards will make sure that the preschool curriculum is based on accepted lines. These various guidelines are implemented to make sure that all preschoolers have the necessary foundations of their education started from the very beginning.

While many people never really think about it our school education really begins the first time that we go to preschool. Here we learn the very first lessons that will shape our dreams for the future. For this reason having access to a first rate education will definitely point us in the right direction. The preschool curriculum is the stepping stone for all of our children’s future education.

For the working parents the need to keep their beloved child some place safe and yet home feeling is a situation that many of us face. The daycare home provides the solution to this problem. These daycare “centers” are homes where a small group of young children get to interact with other children of their own age.

The care provider is usually a woman or mother who loves looking after children. She has made a conscious decision to turn her home into a daycare location. Here is a warm and family type of environment the small children can play and learn fun teaching games. At the same time their emotional needs will be looked after.

These types of daycare home environment can stimulate your child into feeling happy and interested in learning the world around them. They will be able to play with other children and learn to behave in a social environment. The only real drawback to this type of care is that some of these daycare home “mothers” have no experience in dealing with a fair amount of rambunctious toddlers.

In these places your child will be at risk from having the wrong care given. To make sure that you have chosen a daycare home center where you can be sure that your child is receiving good care you should see if you have the ability to visit the home center during the hours when your child is in the daycare home.

There are however daycare home centers where your child will be given not just loving care but also the foundation lessons which will allow them to interact with their peers in confidence. These places will have many items and toys that develop the interest of the children while they are kept entertained as well. There will be lessons where the children listen to stories and get to ask questions.

To develop their manual dexterity the daycare home center will have different items and toys a child will have fun using. Brightly colored musical instruments will be found as well. In these daycare home centers all aspects of a child’s development is seen to.

There will be many items and toys for the child to have fun with. They will also be in an environment where the lessons of right and wrong can be reinforced in ways the child will understand and remember.

While a small number of children are found in daycare home centers this is not to the detriment of the place. Instead this small number of children allows the daycare provider to provide attention and care for each child properly. In this loving and home-like atmosphere your child will have learning their first social lessons.

Are you a stay at home mom that is looking to bring in an extra income?  Do you know that you can make money by opening a daycare?  You already have the resources, so opening a home based daycare business would be the most logical answer to your money troubles.   And a great benefit is that you can work right out of your home and decide what your hours of operation will be.   It does not take a lot of work to get your daycare business off the ground.   Start off by contacting you local state childcare authority.   Every state has one and you should be able to locate the nearest office in your local yellow pages or phone directory.   Your goal is to inquire about the local laws that govern how many children you can watch at on time and if there are any benefits to getting a license through the state.   Licensed providers can get meal vouchers for free lunches for the children and have more flexibility to charge a higher price. Do some research in your area about the childcare situation in your area.   Are other providers struggling to locate children or are they over saturated to the point that they are turning potential customers away?  You could inquire about what prices they are charging to make sure that you are pricing your services competitively.   You may have a hard time finding a provider to talk to you.   What I suggest is just going up to one or two providers and just ask for information.   You will be able to tell if they are doing well by the number of children that they are watching when you get there.   There pricing should be included in any information packet that they give you. Prepare for opening day.   It is now time to start advertising your new daycare services.   Print out fliers and post them at your local supermarket.   Also let your friends in your neighborhood know that you have just opened a daycare.   They just may know someone that is looking for a new daycare provider. You can definitely make money by opening a daycare if you do your homework and stay determined to make it a profitable business.
